Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in, purchasing, or participating in any course, retreat, event, private class, workshop, or product offered by SamÄ School of Music or Voice of the Beloved (collectively referred to as "we," "us," or "our"), you (the "participant" or "client") acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions, including the Cancellation and No Refund Policy outlined below. These terms apply regardless of whether you have ticked a box agreeing to them, and they become valid as soon as you click the purchase button and your payment is made.
1. Payment Terms
- All payments made to SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in writing.
- This applies to all products, courses, retreats, private classes, workshops, and events.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to review all details, including pricing, content, and availability, before completing the purchase.
- By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the full or partial amount of the transaction to the credit card or other payment method provided, as applicable to the terms of the specific offering.
2. Cancellation and No Refund Policy
- No Refunds
- All payments, including but not limited to deposits, tuition fees, product fees, and event or retreat fees, are non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Change of mind
- Scheduling conflicts
- Personal or professional commitments
- Medical reasons, including illness or injury
- Travel restrictions or issues (including visa denials, flight cancellations, or travel delays)
- Force majeure events (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances)
- Once payment is made, no refunds will be granted under any circumstance.
- Cancellations
- If a participant chooses to cancel their enrollment, they will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the total payment amount. This cancellation fee will be applied regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- Exception: The cancellation fee may only be waived at our sole discretion in very limited and documented exceptional circumstances, such as the death of a close family member. Participants must provide valid documentation, and any waiver of the fee remains at our discretion.
- All cancellations are final, and no refunds will be provided even if the 10% cancellation fee is waived. It is the participantās responsibility to ensure they can attend before making a purchase.
- Behavior and Conduct
- We reserve the right to refuse access to any course, retreat, event (whether online or in-person), or any other offering to any participant who engages in inappropriate behavior, either prior to or during the event.
- This includes but is not limited to:
- Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior during training sessions, workshops, or retreats
- Inappropriate conduct in conversations or communications leading up to the event
- Violations of event rules and guidelines
- If access is refused due to inappropriate behavior, no refund will be provided, and the 10% cancellation feemay still be applicable.
3. Force Majeure
- In the event that a course, retreat, or event must be postponed or rescheduled due to force majeure (circumstances beyond our control), including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics
- Acts of war
- Government restrictions
- No refunds will be provided in the event of a force majeure.
- In such cases, participants will have the option to attend the rescheduled event or receive a credit toward future offerings. Credits must be used within 12 months of the original event date.
4. Program Adjustments
- We reserve the right to modify the content, schedule, location, or format of any course, retreat, event, or offering if necessary.
- Significant Adjustments: If a significant change is made (such as a major rescheduling or change in location), participants are not entitled to a refund but may request a credit toward a future course, retreat, or event. The request for credit must be made within 7 days of receiving notice of the change.
- Minor adjustments do not entitle participants to any refund, credit, or other compensation. Significant adjustments are determined at the discretion of SamÄ School of Music or Voice of the Beloved.
5. Waiver of Liability
- By enrolling in any of our programs, events, retreats, or classes, participants acknowledge and agree to assume all risks related to participation, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, personal property damage, and any other unforeseen occurrences.
- SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages arising from:
- Physical activities or exercises during the event
- Travel to and from the event location
- Participation in retreat or event activities
- Participants are encouraged to purchase appropriate medical and travel insurance if necessary.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the participant for the specific program or event in question. We do not accept responsibility for additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses.
6. Data Security and Use
- We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all participant data. However, by using our services, participants acknowledge that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
- While we take reasonable precautions to protect participant data, SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Belovedare not responsible for any unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of participant data due to hacking, cyber-attacks, or other malicious activities.
- We will handle any data breaches in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including notifying participants of any breaches and taking corrective actions as required by law.
7. Privacy Policy
- By enrolling in or purchasing any of our services, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary to fulfill the services you have purchased.

8. Limitation of Liability
- In no event shall SamÄ School of Music or Voice of the Beloved be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in any course, retreat, or event.
- Our liability to any participant for any claim related to participation in any of our offerings is limited to the amount paid by the participant for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses.
- This limitation applies to any claim, loss, or injury arising from participation in the event, including but not limited to negligence or misconduct.
9. Acknowledgment of Agreement
- By registering for any program, retreat, course, private class, or workshop with SamÄ School of Music and/or Voice of the Beloved, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the Cancellation and No Refund Policy. These terms are non-negotiable and apply to all transactions, regardless of whether the participant explicitly ticks a box during checkout.
10. Refunds in Case of Fraud or Error
- If a participant is found to have enrolled under false pretenses (e.g., using discounted student pricing without eligibility) or committed fraud in the payment process, SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved reserve the right to refuse participation, and no refund will be issued.
- In the event of a genuine payment error (such as double billing), we will investigate and, if necessary, issue a refund for the overcharged amount within 30 business days.
11. Termination of Services
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a participant's access to any course, retreat, or event at our discretion, including but not limited to breaches of our Code of Conduct or failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- In the event of such termination, no refunds will be granted, and participants will be responsible for any outstanding balances.
12. Right to Change Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting the revised terms on our website or notifying participants via email.
- Continued use of our services after such changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the modified Terms & Conditions.
13. Recording of Sessions
- Participants consent to the recording of any online or in-person sessions for quality, training, or promotional purposes. These recordings may be shared with other participants, used for educational purposes, or in promotional materials.
- If a participant does not wish to be recorded, they must provide written notice before the session begins.
14. Third-Party Services and Products
- Our courses, events, or retreats may include services or products provided by third-party vendors (e.g., accommodation or catering services at a retreat). We are not responsible for the quality or performance of these third-party providers.
- Participants agree that SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved are not liable for any issues arising from third-party services, including but not limited to personal injury, delays, or service disruptions.
15. No Guarantee of Results
- While we strive to provide valuable educational and transformative experiences, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from participation in our courses, retreats, or events. The results of our services depend on individual effort, commitment, and circumstances.
- Participants agree that they are solely responsible for their progress and achievements.
16. Assignment
- Participants may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms & Conditions to any other person or entity without prior written consent from SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved.
- We reserve the right to assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms & Conditions to any entity or organization without notice.
17. Indemnification
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless SamÄ School of Music, Voice of the Beloved, and their officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Participant's breach of these Terms & Conditions
- Participant's actions or omissions in relation to their participation in any course, event, or retreat
- Participantās use of any third-party services linked to or recommended by us
18. Health and Safety
- For in-person events, retreats, and workshops, participants are responsible for their own health and safety. Participation in any physical activities, including but not limited to yoga or vocal exercises, is at the participantās own risk.
- SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved are not responsible for any injuries, medical conditions, or complications that arise during or after participation in any of our programs.
- We recommend that participants consult their healthcare provider prior to participating in any physical activities.
19. Data Breach Notification
- In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will take necessary steps to notify participants and comply with applicable laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and GDPR regulations, to mitigate risks associated with the breach.
20. Age Requirement
- All participants must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in any course, retreat, or event. For participants under 18, consent must be obtained from a legal guardian, and a written release form must be submitted prior to participation.
21. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Any legal actions or proceedings arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in California.
22. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms & Conditions, or any products, courses, or services provided by SamÄ School of Music and Voice of the Beloved, will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will take place in California, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding on both parties.
- Both parties agree to waive their right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
23. Severability
- If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
